We served a Warning Notice on Nottinghamshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust on 11 March 2025 as the quality of health care provided at HMP Ranby requires significant improvement. The provider was failing to meet regulations relating to staffing and good governance. The provider failed to ensure sufficient numbers of suitably qualified, competent, skilled and experienced persons were deployed, and that staff received the appropriate training and support to enable them to carry out their roles. The provider failed to ensure that their governance systems and processes operated effectively to monitor and improve the quality and safety of the service.
