During a routine inspection

During our inspection we spoke with the registered provider, staff and people and/or their representatives who used the service. The people we spoke with were complimentary of the staff. One person told us the agency was "really great, the girls cant help enough".

Pentowan Home Care provide personal care for over 90 people and 37 people were employed by the company.

People's views and experiences were taken into account in the way the service was provided and delivered in relation to their care.

Care and treatment was planned and delivered in a way that was intended to ensure people's safety and welfare.

People were cared for, or supported by, suitably qualified, skilled and experienced staff.

People were cared for by staff who were supported to deliver care and treatment safely and to an appropriate standard.

There was an effective complaints system available.
