The results of the customer questionnaires for 2011 showed that relatives of people who use the service were very happy with the quality of the support provided by Nexus-Support. Positive comments included 'During the short period of time Nexus has supported our relative, we would give them nine out of 10 for overall service. We would be happy to support any recommendation to another service user and report to registration and social care as to the quality of care provided by Nexus. We have full confidence in our relative's care support.' We were also told, 'We are more than happy with the quality of the service we received from Nexus. The transition from our last service provider to Nexus was better than hoped and stress free. All the staff are extremely caring and understanding and always professional and approachable. It is reassuring to know that our relative is in 'safe hands' with staff that know them well' and 'What a journey our relative has been on, they have had staff that are flexible, patient, encouraging and fun and they have helped them to achieve goals previously thought impossible. Nexus has shown us that anything is possible.'
Relatives spoken with told us they had been involved with their member of family's support plan and contributed to the information recorded. They told us that they were very happy with the care and support provided by Nexus-Support. Comments included 'They're (Nexus-Support) a godsend' and 'I am more than satisfied with the support provided for our relative.' Relatives spoken with told us that communication with the management team was positive.
Relatives that we spoke with told us that if they had any concerns or worries, they would discuss them with the personal assistant or a member of the management team. Relatives confirmed that they felt that their views were listened to and acted on.
