During a routine inspection
One person told us their favourite meal, then we checked and found it was on the menu for lunch that day.
Two people told us their room was cool enough in summer and warm enough at night. They told us they liked their rooms and liked living at Threeways.
One person's relative, who was visiting, told us that they were very happy with the care their relative received and that the staff were good. They said it was the best place to support their relative and their relative was always happy to go back to Threeways after staying with them.
We found people were supported to be able to eat and drink sufficient amounts to meet their needs.
We found that the provider had not always assessed capacity to consent for all of the people who live at the home and had not always taken appropriate steps where people lacked capacity, in line with the Mental Capacity Act.
Our visit was unannounced and early in the morning and we found that the home was hygienic, clean and fresh.
We found the provider had taken steps to provide care in a home that was suitably designed and adequately maintained.
We saw that files containing information about staff and people who use the service were kept securely and confidentially.
