Our view of the service
Westminster House Residential Care Limited is a care home without nursing which provides personal care for up to 12 older people who may need support with their mental health or are living with dementia. At the time of our assessment 12 people were living at the service. The assessment took place on the16 July 2024. The service has improved since the last inspection. There were enough staff to support people and staff had been recruited following safe practices and trained with the skills they needed to support people. The provider had put governance systems in place to monitor the service and review feedback on care people received. We found the service was providing good standards of care and this is reflected in the rating of good. This service had been in special measures since 15 July 2023. The provider demonstrated improvements had been made. The service is no longer rated as inadequate overall or in any key question. Therefore, this service is no longer in special measures.
