Caring - This key question has been rated Good. This meant people were encouraged to express their views and make decisions about their care. People's privacy, dignity and independence were respected and promoted. We observed people to be treated with respect and care throughout our visit, staff continuously involved people and respected their choices.

Independence, choice and control
People told us staff supported them to make choices and be involved in how the support they received was delivered. One person told us, “Everyone here has been so supportive and helpful.”
Staff told us how they promoted people’s independence and supported them to make decisions.
We observed staff to promote people’s independence. Staff offered people choices throughout our visit and respected the decisions they made.
People’s care plans informed staff on the support people needed to make choices. This included people’s communication methods, so staff understood how to provide people with information and how people communicated their choices and preferences.
