During a routine inspection
People who use the service said that the agency 'gives value for money' and that it provides a 'very efficient service.' They said that a member of the management team visits them initially to discuss their care needs, carries out risk assessments on the equipment used in the home and gives them information about the agency. People said that their consent is obtained before care is provided. People also told us that the same member of staff visits them monthly to monitor the care workers and that they receive survey questionnaires for their feedback about the service.
People we spoke to felt very involved in planning their own care package and said that the office staff are very helpful and are readily available to listen and make any changes at short notice such as extra visits due to changing care needs. They added that staff handle confidential personal information about them appropriately and keep all the written records safely in a folder at their home.
People who use the service are very pleased with the staff who visit and help them in their own home and this includes assisting them with their medication. They said that the 'the carers are excellent workers' and that they are 'very helpful and diplomatic." People told us that staff treat them with 'respect, dignity and kindness.'
