During a routine inspection
We had been given information that there were not enough staff and people were being ignored and were frightened of staff if they complained. We did not see or hear any evidence of what we had been told. Members of staff answered call alarms in time. They engaged with people and took time to listen and explain things. Everyone we spoke with made very positive comments about the staff. Members of staff were clear that they would report any allegations or observations of abuse.
People's care and treatment needs were being met with regular reviews and monitoring. Some care plans did not always record the level of detail that was known about the person.
Members of staff told us that they had access to a range of relevant training.
The manager and provider regularly monitored the quality of the service and took action to address any issues, including complaints.
