During a routine inspection

We spoke with six people receiving a service, five members of staff on the phone and two managers during our visit. This visit was undertaken over two days. We spent the first day looking at the agency records in the agency's office. We also spoke to some people who used services and their relatives on the phone. We spent the second day visiting people who used services in their own homes.

People told us that that they were provided with a good standard of care. They said they were involved in the provision of care and were supported with their medication. They said that they were given choices, their views were respected and staff encouraged them to be part of the local community.

One person told us 'staff always knock before entering my bedroom and when I do not want them to come in the staff respect this' Another person said staff are very good to me. I have known them for 8 years. If there is any problem it is usually sorted. I know how to contact the office in emergency'.
