Terms of this registration relating to carrying out this regulated activity

The Registered Provider must not provide nursing care under accommodation for persons who require nursing or personal care at Wensley House Residential Home.

On the first Monday of each month the Registered Provider must send to the Care Quality Commission a detailed report of their monitoring of the quality and safety of all areas of the service provision at the location Wensley House Residential Home, including the findings of their monitoring and their plan of action, with clear timescales for actions where issues are identified. The report is also to include confirmation of the actions taken in response to any shortfalls identified in the previous month�s report.

The Registered Provider must ensure that persons in management positions are fully supported and provided with the means to deliver their duties in such a way as to ensure the effective running of the service and safety of service users.

The Registered Provider must complete on-going observational practice of all staff to ensure that all staff are implementing training they have received to provide service users with safe and person-centred care at all times, in particular those service users with higher needs and difficulty communicating their needs. This includes staff working on all shifts within the service and staff of all grades.

The Registered Provider must ensure that free standing wardrobes are secured in such a way that they do not present a crushing risk and a clear record is kept of checks of all heavy freestanding furnishings and that they are made safe as part of their ongoing maintenance programme.

The Registered Provider may accommodate no more than 48 people at Wensley House Residential Home.
