During an inspection in response to concerns
We found mixed evidence about whether people are always treated with dignity and respect, and were concerned about one particular situation where staff had not provided appropriate care. We found that although the staff were provided with good guidance in policies, they did not always follow this when planning people's care and delivering it.
We found that staff did not always follow the guidance and training provided on supporting people when their behaviour was challenging. This meant that people did not always receive a consistent response from staff. Managers had not checked to make sure the staff were working as they expected them to do. We found the systems for checking on the quality of care and service were not effective and did not result in a consistently good service for all.
