During a routine inspection
I have agreed to the care I receive here, the staff are really nice to me'.
'It's much better here than where I was before, I get out a lot more and the staff always tell me what's going on like meetings and trips out'.
They said staff treated them well, that they were enabled to maintain their independence and they were treated with respect.
'It's good here, I've been here for about two years and the staff are really good, I've come on a lot'.
'The manager and the staff are really nice here, they look after us'.
They also told us that they were keeping in touch with family and friends.
People said they were getting support with healthcare needs and that they had ongoing attention from health care professionals.
Everyone we spoke with made positive comments about the catering arrangements, they said, "The food is good here', and "If we don't like what's on the menu, they will get something else for us'.
'We're going out for lunch today; we do that quite a lot'.
We received positive comments about how people spend their time, and we were told, "We've just got a new trampoline for exercise and a new Wii fit console'.
We received positive comments about the accommodation and facilities provided at Rockmount. People said that the home was being kept clean and one person said, 'Our rooms are great. I've got everything I need, bed, shower and TV'.
People said that the staff were lovely, 'They never shout and there is no bullying here'.
