Florebright Care Limited is a service registered to provide personal care to individuals living in their own homes and they primarily offer services to older people. CQC only inspects where people receive personal care. This is help with tasks related to personal hygiene and eating. Where they do, we also consider any wider social care provided. At the time of our inspection there were 1 person was using the service. The provider had accepted a further 2 care packages and was organising the staff needed to support them. These commenced during the assessment. We carried out an onsite assessment. Activity started on 16 April 2024 and ended on 20 May 2024. We gathered information from people using the service, relatives, the registered manager, staff and from health and social care professionals involved with the service. We looked at all 34 quality statements. At this assessment we found people were very happy with the service and reported staff were good at their jobs. Staff were passionate about providing good care outcomes and took ownership of their practice. People found staff treated them with dignity and kindness. Staff felt the registered manager empowered them to be compassionate, give people all the time they needed and treat each person as an individual. They understood people's needs and how to manage any presenting risks. Staff sought people’s views about how to support them and, when appropriate, relative were included them in discussions about the support being offered. Recruitment practices were meeting requirements. There were enough staff to deliver the care package and systems were in place to ensure new care packages could be supported with adequate numbers of staff. Care packages were only accepted when the registered manager and staff were confident the person’s needs could be met. The management team had created a robust governance system, which rapidly identified the smallest of issue.
