During a routine inspection
We found that staff provided care in accordance with people's wishes and respected their preferences. People told us that staff understood and met their needs. One person said they were, 'Delighted' with the care they received. Another person told us they only wanted short term care, but that the agency had, 'pulled out all the stops ' and they couldn't be nicer. I can't fault them and they've been very professional.'
People were cared for, or supported by, suitably qualified, skilled and experienced staff. We saw that checks were carried out to ensure the suitability of staff before they took up their post. People described the staff who provided care to them as, 'marvellous,' and, 'very helpful.'
We saw there were effective systems in place to assess and monitor the quality of the service provided and no complaints had been received in the last 12 months.
The provider showed us numerous compliments that they had received from people. One person particularly praised the management of the agency. They wrote, 'A good organisation is one that is managed well. Yes, that is you [manager]. I have no hesitation in recommending you to others in need of your tender loving care.'
