Cedar Court is a care home for people with learning disabilities and/or autism. On the day of our off site assessment there were 13 people living at the service. This assessment activity began on the 28 February 2024 and ended on 21 March 2024. We looked at 1 key question; Well led, and 1 quality statement; Governance, management and sustainability. We expect health and social care providers to guarantee people with a learning disability and autistic people respect, equality, dignity, choices and independence and good access to local communities that most people take for granted. ‘Right support, right care, right culture’ is the guidance CQC follows to make assessments and judgements about services supporting people with a learning disability and autistic people and providers must have regard to it. At this assessment we looked at some aspects of how the service met these principles. People in care homes receive accommodation and nursing or personal care as single package under one contractual agreement. At our last inspection this service was rated good. Following this assessment the service remains rated good.
