However, we found improvements were needed with planning peoples' care and promoting safe medication practices.
People spoken with were generally satisfied with the activities on offer. They said they liked watching television, playing dominoes and ring throwing. One person told us, 'We have entertainers on occasion'.
Although people told us they were generally happy with the quality and quantity of the meals provided, we found improvements were needed with offering and promoting choices.
We received positive comments about the accommodation and facilities provided at The Croft, people said that the home was being kept clean and that they liked their bedrooms. But we found progress was needed in making sure the home is kept safe and in good repair.
People described the staff as, 'Marvellous', 'Pleasant' and 'Nice'. One person said, 'The manager is lovely, she listens and does things for you'. However, we found improvements were needed with consulting with people and maintaining standards.
