During a routine inspection
We made telephone calls to 18 people but were only able to have discussions with eight. They told us that an assessment of need was undertaken from which a care plan was written. One parent told us, 'I was involved in the process of writing the care plan and telling the service the support we required.'
Parents told us that medication was not administered by staff at the service. They stated that the family support workers were very good and would do most things they requested.
Parents told us that they had completed a questionnaire for the service. They also told us that they received regular telephone calls from the manager and family support workers at the service.
People told us they knew who to make a complaint to. All the people we spoke with told us that they had never had to make a complaint. They stated that the support they received from the service was excellent and family support workers were always pleasant, polite and respected them and their family members.
