During a routine inspection
People said they receive the care they needed. A visitor told us he was made to feel welcome whenever he came to the service. He said he was very pleased with his relative's care. People told us they enjoyed meals in the home and that there were choices of food. They said they received enough to eat. People said their privacy was maintained by staff and that they were treated with respect. They said their rooms were comfortable. People commented positively about staff. One person said they felt communication was an issue with some staff for whom English was a second language.
Staff told us they had received an induction and were supported to do their work. They said there was good team working at the service and that the manager was approachable. Staff we spoke with said that staffing levels were about right to meet people's current care needs.
