During a routine inspection
We observed a welcoming, friendly environment which was undergoing improvements such as new carpets, furniture and redecoration. People we spoke with complimented the changes to the environment and said 'It's much nicer now.'
We saw appropriate procedures in place for the safe administration of medicines which ensured people received their medicines as prescribed by their doctor.
We looked at the recruitment processes for employing staff. These were robust and ensured all staff had the relevant employment checks completed before they commenced work.
There were effective quality assurance systems in place which meant people who used the service benefitted from safe care and treatment.
