During a routine inspection
They told us that they knew how to raise any concerns and were confident that they would be listened to. People told us that they had no complaints. One person said 'There are no faults here, I am happy'
People said that staff were friendly and caring. They told us that they were happy with the care that they received and said:
'Staff are excellent and everyone is well cared for'
'I'm very happy with my brothers care, he is well looked after'
'They ask me about my care, they ask if everything is ok'
'Staff take time and do talk to you'
'I have a shower three or four times a week, that suits me, I always get one'
'The food is lovely and there is always a drink for you'
People told us that there were activities that they could join in, if they wanted to. They told us that they went outside of the home to the pub and to the shops. People told us about entertainers that came into the home.
People told us they were supported to attend appointments outside of the home. One person said 'I go to the clinic on my own but a carer will come to the hospital with me'. A visiting professional told us 'If people need medical follow up they get it'.
