During a routine inspection
On the day of our inspection we visited four people in their homes and spoke with them about the care and support they received. One person told us the staff were "most helpful". Another person said "they all know what I like" about the staff.
We spoke with two relatives, one of whom told us they were "delighted with the care" provided by the agency. Another relative said "they're very approachable", and added that the manager was always happy to talk with them.
The three members of staff we spoke with had been working at the agency for two years or more and all felt well supported to give good quality care. One member of staff said of the provider "they support us well".
We looked at records relating to people's care and support and saw that people's wishes had been taken into account in planning their care, with the support of family members if they required it. We saw that care was being delivered in a way that promoted people's independence. Care was provided by experienced and appropriately qualified staff and the provider had an effective system in place to identify, assess and manage risks to people's health, safety and welfare.
