We spoke with 7 people who lived at the home about their experience of the care provided. We spent time seeing how people were cared for. We used the Short Observational Framework for Inspection (SOFI). SOFI is a way of observing care to help us understand the experience of people who could not talk with us. We spoke with 9 relatives about their experience of the care provided. People and relatives spoken with told us they felt safe using the service. We observed many positive interactions between staff and people. However, some people and relatives shared their concerns around food and lack of choice. Some relatives shared concerns around staffing in relation to how busy staff were, and new staff and agency staff not always having the understanding and knowledge of their loved ones needs.
