During a routine inspection
People who used the service said they were treated with respect and their dignity was maintained. A relative told us, "I'm not in the room while they see to my relative. Everything is done very discreetly and respectfully".
Care records reflected people's needs and enabled staff to identify how best to provide care to the individual. A person who used the service said, "They look after me really well. They know what I need".
The provider had systems in place which enabled them to liaise closely with other services in the wider health community.
Policies and practices ensured that people who used the service and staff who provided services were protected from the risk of infection.
There were sufficient suitable qualified and skilled staff to provide the service.
The provider had systems in place to help monitor the quality of service. Systems were designed to enable the provider to identify areas for improvement and respond accordingly.
