Service users at Henesy House told us that they were receiving good care and support during their programme of rehabilitation. They also expressed satisfaction about the meals provided. Comments made included; 'They have worked wonders with me here. I thought I wouldn't walk again but the they (staff) have taught me to. I am now looking forward to going home"
"I don't think I would be able to return home if it wasn't for all the help I have had here. They (staff) involve you in your treatment, listen to your opinion and calm your fears about what will happen when you go home.'
'I have no concerns about how I have been cared for or treated. In fact I have nothing but praise about my time here.'
'All the staff respect my privacy and speak to me in a respectful way.'
'The food is really good. But if there is something you don't like they will make you something else'.
'I have liked most of the meals. They (staff) ask you what you would like and there is always plenty to eat.'
'My appetite has not been good for a long time but the food is good. Since I have come here they (staff) have given me special drinks to build me up again.'
We found that the care and support needs (including their nutritional needs) of service users at Henesy House were being met appropriately. We also found that systems were in place to keep them safe and ensure they were being supported by sufficient numbers of staff.
