Resident and relative meetings were held quarterly with minutes recorded and shared. Any actions were clearly documented and outcomes from previous meetings were updated on. There was a clear complaints procedure in place, which included details of how to escalate concerns if complainants were unhappy with the outcomes. Complaints were recorded to include details of actions and progress, this was regularly audited by the manager. Any changes to care plans were made in discussion with people so they were able to understand the reason for changes and contribute to them/object to them if they wished to. Relatives/advocates were included for those who either wished them to be or did not have capacity to make such decisions themselves.
