They also said that activities were arranged for them if they wanted to take part. We were told, 'We do all sorts'. One lady said that, 'We get entertainers come in'.
Everyone we spoke to said that the meals were good.
People said that staff arrange for them to see the local GP, dentists, opticians, chiropodists and social workers if they need to.
We were told how the home had worked with a local hospital and the ambulance service to make sure that one of the people who live in the home could regularly attend a local clinic to receive the treatment that they needed.
People said they feel able to approach staff directly or speak to one of the members of the management within the home if they were worried about anything.
They also said such things as, 'The staff are very helpful' and, 'They will always help if they can'.
