Condition of this registration relating to carrying out this regulated activity
The registered provider must undertake a review at Parkside Nursing Home, Park Road, Banstead Surrey SM7 3DL of;
a) the environment, considering individual service users’ needs and preferences and implement environmental changes as identified in their review
b) all activity provision and implement activities in line with service users assessed needs and preferences
The registered provider must undertake a review at Parkside Nursing Home, Park Road, Banstead Surrey SM7 3DL of;
a) cleaning schedules, ensuring equipment is well maintained and the environment is clean and well maintained.
b) service users’ beds ensuring they are safe and meet individual’s needs.
c) care plans to ensure service users with specific health needs, including diabetes, Parkinson’s and wounds have sufficient care plans and risk assessment in place.
The registered provider must undertake an audit and devise an action plan at Parkside Nursing Home, Park Road, Banstead Surrey SM7 3DL. The action plan must be kept up to date, monitored and outcomes sustained. The audits and action plan must include;
a) the environment and activity provision to ensure it meets individual service users’ needs and preferences
b) assessment of the risk of and prevention of the spread of infections including the environment and equipment
c) assessment, mitigation and management of risks associated with service users’ care and treatment, including wound care, diabetes, Parkinson’s and equipment including beds.
Seven days after the condition takes effect, the registered provider must submit an updated action plan to The Care Quality Commission. This registered provider must be able to address the actions put in place as stated above and how they will be monitored and sustained. The provider will submit these action plans on the first Tuesday of every month, following the condition taking effect.

The Registered Provider must only Accommodate a maximum of 34 service users at Parkside Nursing Home.
