Our view of the service

Winfield Hospital is a private hospital in Gloucester which is run by Ramsay Health Care UK Operations Limited. We rated the hospital as good at a previous inspection visit undertaken in June 2022. In response to concerns raised with us, we conducted an evidence-based, desk top assessment of the hospital. This took place from 31 January and 7 March 2024 which included an onsite visit on 31 January 2023. We reviewed elements of the safe and well led key questions. The overall rating for this service following our most recent visit is good. Care was provided safely and governance arrangements were effective.
