During a routine inspection
'The staff were nice. They were very helpful and explained everything clearly.'
'I was happy with the service. I was given enough information. The staff were kind and answered any questions I had'
We looked at the analysis of the results from one hundred and ninety two surveys completed by people who used the service between January and April 2013. These indicated that 91% of people were very satisfied with the standard of care provided. 90% were very satisfied with the advice received and 98% felt fully informed about all aspects of their treatment.
We found that people were provided with the information they needed to make an informed choice about treatment. The practices and procedures in place ensured that people experienced treatment and support that met their needs and protected their rights.
There were systems in place to ensure that a good standard of infection control was maintained.
We found people's views were sought about what worked well and where improvements were needed.
