During a routine inspection
People using the told us that they are happy in the home, they like how it is run and feel able to speak to staff if they have concerns. For people that are non verbal their communication needs are understood by staff with information held of the communication tools used.
People said that they were well cared for at Mountearl House, had the things that they needed and that it was a homely place where people were treated with respect and dignity. One person told us, 'I lead a busy life, go to college, and everyone does their best to help'. Another person said, ' I have everything I need and I go out in the community with staff'.
People who live at the home have their diverse needs understood. Practices are regularly monitored and observed by senior management, to ensure that there are no inconsistencies in practices experienced.
