During an inspection looking at part of the service

People using the service told us that they were happy with the standard of cleanliness in the home and could always go to the staff and management team if they had a concern to raise.

During a routine inspection

People using the service told us at the site visit on February 22nd 2011 that all their needs were being met, but that staff appeared busy at certain times of the day. They commended staff on how they deal with people with more complex needs and said they admired their patience. They described staff as kind and caring. They also told us they have freedom in the home to rise ad go to bed when ever they choose.

They told us they felt comforted that they had been able to bring in their own belongings to furnish their bedrooms and this had helped them settle in. All equipment in use was well maintained and they felt staff helped them especially with their medication needs. They described the food as suitable for their tastes and that they can eat wherever they choose.
