During an inspection in response to concerns
People we spoke to said that they were happy with the way their care is delivered. They confirmed that the office informs them if there is going to be a change to their regular carer. People who use the service told us that they receive the care and support they need, including at weekends, and their carer usually arrives on time. One person wasn't aware of their care plan, but another person told us that staff had "come down a few days ago and discussed" it.
Comments from people we spoke to included:
"Quite happy with my carers at the moment".
'Absolutely super. Do anything you ask them to do. They come and help me."
People told us that they knew who to speak to if they had concerns about their treatment or care.
One person we spoke to described one of their carers as, 'Very quiet, but capable'. However the majority of comments we received from people were overwhelmingly positive:
"These people give you the love and care when you are very old and fragile."
"Absolutely marvellous."
People told us that they are often asked what they think about the agency and were generally very happy. One person told us that they were, "happy with the service, very much so".
We also spoke to two different local authority contract monitoring representatives and were not advised of any concerns that the agency were not already dealing with appropriately.
