Our current view of the service

The assessment took place between 18 July and 02 August 2024. We undertook this assessment to follow up conditions placed on the provider following the last inspection.
We found one continued breach of the legal regulation in relation to good governance. The provider had not made enough improvements to quality assurance systems, since our last assessment.
However, improvements were being made in assessing people’s risks and managing medicines safely. People were treated with kindness and compassion and felt safe.

People told us there was a learning culture in the care home, they received safe care from staff who knew them and treated them with kindness and respect, the provider dealt with safeguarding issues when required, staff supported them to manage their risks safely, they felt the care home environment was safe, clean and tidy and there had been improvements, staff supported them to take their medication safely; and the provider worked well with partner agencies in relation to their care.
