During a routine inspection
Relatives said that they were kept informed of the care and would approach the staff if they needed to know anything. People told us that the meals were good and they liked the food which was provided. Staff told us that the chef had a list of what people liked and disliked and residents were offered a choice of meals. People told us that they felt that their relatives received a well balanced diet and that they thought the food always looked very nice.
They said that they felt that the home took action when they needed a doctor or hospital treatment. People said that they found the home was always clean and fresh and that their relatives' bedrooms were cleaned daily. One comment was that there was never 'any offensive odour when you walk in.'
