During a routine inspection
People told us that they felt safe and that they knew how to raise any concerns. They were confident that they would be listened to and have their concerns acted upon. People we spoke to told us that they had no complaints.
People told us that they had everything they needed and that the home was clean.
They told us that the staff were approachable, friendly and caring.
People said:
'I had a booklet and a lot of papers to read when I came here'
'Staff bring post to me, it's not opened, it's private'
'Staff ask me what I want'
'They always let us know if my mum is not well'
'Sometimes the staff will paint my nails and I get my hair done on a Thursday when the hairdresser comes in'
'I am well looked after'
'I can have a shower when I want one, I just ask the staff'
'We have a choice, we order off the menu, the carers come round and ask you what you want'
'The food is ok, if it doesn't taste right I will tell them'
'I always have a cup of tea in bed between 6.30 and 6.45'
'They check on me at night and ask me if I want a drink'
'Yes I feel safe and comfortable here'
'Her room is nice and is kept clean'
'My bedroom is on the ground floor, it opens out onto the patio and I have a bird table there'
'I have a buzzer in my room, I know the staff would come if I need help'
'The staff are very helpful'
'We ask staff if we need anything and they come straight away'
'The staff run short sometimes but they come as quick as they can'
'I can talk to the staff and I could tell them if I was unhappy about something'
'I've got nothing to complain about'
