During a routine inspection
'Staff are alright'
'I feel safe enough here'
'I think it is alright and I feel safe here'
'I love living here, people are good to each other and there is a pretty good atmosphere. The food is good and I get helped'
'The place is alright, I get out when I can. They definitely listen to me, do I feel safe?-oh yes!'
We also spoke to relatives about the experiences they had of the care provided to their relations. They told us:
'I would not have my relative anywhere else, staff are brilliant, and he gets the care he needs and I can walk away knowing he will be ok. I feel involved in his care'
'They do a good job; they are supportive and very friendly. They always let us know what is going on and we are involved in the care. I consider my relative to be very safe here'
'The place is smashing, care staff are brilliant. The management now is fine and is now more professional. I am involved in my relations care especially with their with health and positive outcomes have happened as a result'
'They communicate with us through relatives meeting and they have an open door policy. The building is slowly being refurbished.
I have no major problems and carers are excellent. The appointment of a clinical services manager has been a good move'
