During an inspection in response to concerns
The conversations we had with residents were carried out in private rooms generally and they confirmed that staff treated them with respect at all times. Numerous examples of this were told to us by both residents and their visiting relatives.
We were told that residents generally received their medications, including creams and nutritional supplements, as prescribed. However sometimes doses were missed if people were asleep during the medication round as not all staff offered the medication when the person woke up. We heard the care workers talking to people kindly and patiently as they supported people to take their medicines.
