During an inspection in response to concerns
We received mixed comments about the standard of meals for example, 'very repetitive and the cooked ham is poor and tastes like blotting paper'. Another said, 'We can ask and suggest variations and our requests are usually met', 'I am having mash because I can't eat chips'.
Three people told us that staff gave them the support and help with their medicines that they needed.
Two people expressed concern over current media reports about the provider. They felt frustrated and anxious that they were not being told what was happening at the home and had to rely on newspapers and the television for updates.
