During a routine inspection
We saw that people were well presented and wore clothes that reflected their own preferences, style, and gender. We found that staff maintained people's privacy and dignity throughout the day. People were encouraged to be independent, as much as possible.
We found that people's care records provided detailed information about their needs and preferences. We saw positive interactions between staff and people living at the home. This meant that people received care that met their needs.
Arrangements were in place to ensure that people were safeguarded from abuse.
We found that staff were supported through supervision, training and meetings. One staff said, 'We get lots of support here.'
Systems were in place to ensure that people could complain. We found that the complaints procedure was in an easy read format to ensure that people could understand this.
