During a routine inspection
We observed people being supported with their daily life activities. The people we met with appeared relaxed, comfortable and at ease with the staff. There was plenty of laughter and positive interaction between the staff and people who lived at the home. It was evident staff had a good understanding of what was important to each person, how to provide care and support and also providing encouragement for people to be independent. A person we spoke with told us, 'I am very happy here, everything is great. I like the food, the college and going out with the staff.' Staff had access to people's detailed care records to help them provide care, support and treatment according to individual need.
The organisation assessed and monitored the service to ensure it provided safe effective care for people and the staff received training so they were skilled and competent in their job role.
