Staff told us they received appropriate support from the manager and the provider. A staff member said, “[Provider], is here a lot, she tries her best, if there is a night to be covered, she will do it. She stays here a lot.” They went on to say “She does everything she can, she is really hands-on and also cooking when we are short staffed.”

The provider had systems and processes in place to promote and support staff wellbeing. The provider ensured staff were supported by an employee assistance programme (EAP). The staff have access through EAP to counselling, medical support and advice and financial support. The provider has sent reminders to staff that this EAP is available to them.
