During an inspection looking at part of the service
They said that staff at the service were cheerful, respectful and approachable and that when they needed assistance a member of staff was available to help them. Some of the comments included 'I'm happy here the staff look after me well, they are a cheerful bunch',' the staff are kind and helpful',' no problems, staffing is good', 'staff try their best' and 'the staff are very good here'.
Comments from relatives included 'the staff here are very good and kind, she is very happy here' and 'I've been very impressed with the care, my relative has been here a short time and we have no complaints'. Another relative told us 'sometimes when we used to come and visit, we hardly saw the staff but it's better now'.
People told us that they were consulted about their care and their care needs were well met. One person summarised the general feeling by saying: 'I'm very happy with the care, the staff are very kind and helpful'.
We spoke with some of the relatives about the standards of care and they told us 'I visit every day, the care is good, we have no problems' and' the standard of personal care is good, the staff make sure her hair is tidy and they help her choose her clothes'.
