During a routine inspection
Visiting relatives were spoken with, one said 'The staff work really hard and are very caring, the only problem is the smell of urine is overpowering (dementia care unit). Another said, 'My mother has settled very well here, I have no concerns'.
We spoke with several residents during our visit, we were told, 'I am quiet happy living here, I have everything I need'. 'The staff are very good, they care for us really well'.
We were told by service users that the food was very good. One said,' You can't complain about the food it is very good'. Another confirmed there was always a choice at meal times.
One relative spoken with was very complementary about the food and the way it was presented.
