Our view of the service
Date of Assessment: 4 July to 31 July 2024. This assessment was a responsive assessment due to concerns about the management of people’s fall risk. The decision was made to complete an onsite assessment reviewing the questions of safe and well led? We found breaches in relation to how people’s needs and risk were managed and the systems in place to ensure oversight of the service and that people received safe care. Whilst people were generally happy with the care and support they received, it was not always evident that care plans and risk assessment were accurate and reflective of a person’s needs, being followed by staff or that the environment had been adapted to meet the person’s needs.
