During a routine inspection
People were being involved in planning and consenting to their support and were enabled to make decisions about matters which affected them.
Overall we found people experienced good care and support. Most people told us they were looked after very well. People were encouraged to maintain and develop their independence skills. However, we found progress was needed in ensuring care plans include details of people's individual needs and choices, so that staff have clear instructions on providing care and support.
People were getting support with their healthcare needs and they had on-going support from health care professionals.
People said they were satisfied with the accommodation at The Manor House. They were provided with comfortable and safe surroundings.
We found good arrangements were in place to train, develop and support the staff in providing an effective service.
Most people had no complaints about the services being provided. There was a satisfactory complaints process, however we found this could be developed to ensure complaints are managed more effectively.
