During a routine inspection
We found that people using the service were given lots of opportunities to be involved in their care planning and delivery. We saw evidence that the provider listened to people and took their views into account.
We found that care plans were person centred and up to date. Staff told us that there was good communication about changes to people's care plans.
People told us that they felt safe with the provider's staff in their homes. Staff demonstrated that they were familiar with local safeguarding policies and procedures. We saw evidence that the provider had previously made safeguarding referrals to the local authority.
We found that all the necessary checks were made before new staff were allowed to provide care to people. We also saw that the provider had an effective complaints procedure in place.
