During a routine inspection
We spoke to the parents of four people who used the service. They all expressed satisfaction with the care and support provided by Care Solutions Ltd (Essex). One parent told us that they were 'Highly delighted' with the care and support provided to their relative and another parent told us that the care and support provided was '200%, brilliant care, I couldn't find fault with anything.'
All the parents we spoke with confirmed that people who used the service, or others acting on their behalf had their views and experiences taken into account, in the way the service was provided and delivered. They also were involved appropriately in making decisions about their care and support. We saw that care and support plans were centred on people as an individual and considered all aspects of their circumstances.
Staff were recruited properly to ensure that they were suitable to carry out their role and where able people who use the service were involved in this process. We found staff were properly trained and updated to develop and maintain their skills. Although we found that staff were supported in their role, supervisions were not carried out on a regular basis to provide staff with protected time to discuss and review practice.
