During a routine inspection
There was a variation on the quality of the two care plans we reviewed one was very person centred and provided staff with strategies to ensure safe and appropriate care; the second care plan failed to adequately address the person's needs or the challenges staff described to us.
People's medications were not managed safely. We found staff were not provided with adequate guidance in respect of the safe handling and administration of medication.
We found that people had their care and supported delivered by a staff team that were properly trained and adequately supported in their respective roles.
There were insufficient quality assurance processes to monitor the care and support provided to people and this put them at risk of unsafe care.
