During a routine inspection
Three parents we spoke with were happy with the care and support their child received, and felt that the service met their needs. They told us that their child liked the staff that supported them. Comments from parents included 'I have a great worker who is very supportive; my child is well matched to their worker and enjoys spending time with them and, the service has helped a lot as I get the support I need.'
The service was flexible and centred around the needs of the child and their family.
Parents said that they felt listened to and involved in decisions about the care and support their child received. They received the help they needed at their preferred times, from staff who were aware of their needs.
Staff had the knowledge and skills to meet the children and young people's needs. The training and supervision arrangements had been strengthened to ensure that staff received appropriate training and support to carry out their work.
The recruitment procedures had also been strengthened to ensure that children and young people were cared for by suitable staff.
