Condition of this registration relating to carrying out this regulated activity
The registered person must send to the Commission monthly confirmation that quality assurance audits for all service users accommodated at St Catherine�s Residential Care Home have been completed. This evidence should be received by the Commission on the first Monday of each month subsequently, after the coming into effect of this notice.
The above audits must include specific reference to any monitoring tools or external professional involvement which has been used in undertaking of the assessments to identify, monitor and assess risks such as, but not exclusively, staffing levels, including dependency assessments and contingency planning, environmental risks and quality standards including infection control prevention and protection practices.
Terms of this registration relating to carrying out this regulated activity
On the first Monday of each month after the imposition of this condition and on the first Monday of each month subsequently, the registered provider must send to the Commission a written summary report showing your evaluation of the quality assurance activities undertaken over the preceding month. The report should provide a summary of the quality assurance activities undertaken, the findings and any required actions to be taken including associated timeframes for completeness in order to demonstrate that the service is able to meet the care needs and promote the safety and comfort of every service user.
The report should detail any specific tools and methodologies used within the quality assurance systems and processes, inclusive of any involvement from external agencies. It should evidence how the registered provider has sought and acted on feedback from service users, relatives, staff and other relevant persons for the purpose of continually evaluating and improving the service.
The Registered Provider must only accommodate a maximum of 22 service users at St.Catherines Residential Care Home.
The Registered Provider must not provide nursing care under accommodation for persons who require nursing or personal care at St Catherines Residential Care Home.
